Can I properly homeschool and tend to all my other obligations?
Yes, you can.
But you will need a plan and a strategy to make it work.
When choosing to homeschool, there are many interconnecting areas of your home life that also needs consideration and planning.
Some, require some pretty drastic decisions.
As a homeschooling parent, sometimes I just have to say no to some things. And I’m okay with that!
In my experience, I’ve learned how to protect our learning hours and spend the other hours of the day as efficiently and purposefully as possible.
Homeschoolers don’t have time to waste.
Eliminating time distractions is key to helping your homeschool and non-homeschool tasks stay on track.
This also includes getting rid of the clutter that easily loves to find its way inside homeschoolers’ homes.
You must become savvy at knowing what to keep and what to toss. And discerning what materials you actually need in your homeschool.
Your time is valuable. And you don’t want to spend unnecessary time managing unnecessary stuff.
Creating a schedule for housework, some form of menu planning, and keeping your home well-stocked with essentials help keep your home running smoothly.
You are managing your home and need to view your home from a bird’s eye view.
Especially, if you are homeschooling while working from home.
And definitely, if you homeschool with more than one child.
Efficiency must become your sidekick.
My need for efficiency became the turning point in my homeschool.
With a child needing lots of one on one attention and severe learning challenges, I did not have time to waste on fluff.
I needed my homeschool program to focus on the things that mattered most and still allowed me to spend quality time with my children and keep a clean and organized home.
That’s when I learned how to develop goal-based homeschooling.
After identifying our homeschool goals, I begin to divide my homeschool planning strategy into 3 categories.
- Identifying goals & priorities
- Choosing what will help accomplish them
- Executing the plan.
Better known as the I.C.E. method.

Using this method, I created a homeschool program that has allowed my child to successfully far surpass the early days of severe learning challenges while homeschooling multiple children.

With strategic planning and helpful insight, you can create a plan that will accomplish your homeschool goals too!
I CREATED THE HANDCRAFTED HOMESCHOOL COURSE TO GIVE YOU THE EXACT STEPS I TOOK THAT ALLOWED ME TO HOMESCHOOL MY CHILDREN STRESS-FREE AND MANAGE MY HOME WITHOUT FEELING OVERWHELMED
In my early days of homeschooling my days, were anything but stress-free. I understand what it’s like to wonder if you will ever get the hang of homeschooling.
As a homeschooling mom of over 7 years, I can assure you, that you will!
I was highly motivated to give my children a better more personalized education than I myself experienced.
Any parent desiring to give their child the same thing can successfully homeschool their child without any certification or college degree prerequisite.
By creating a purposefully planned homeschool schedule you allow your child plenty of time to engage in family travel, trips, and social and educational activities with other people other than their immediate family members. Such as clubs, sports, and volunteer work – further strengthening and developing communication and social skills.
When most homeschoolers reach adulthood, the beliefs and values that were instilled in them from childhood are prioritized at a higher rate than non homeschooled students.
